Weekly Reads (but on a Thursday?)

Hello my featherlings! Happy Thursday? I’m doing this super late this week aren’t I?

Well better late than never. I’ve been pretty busy, but now I’m ready to get back into the swing of things. I’ve been taking Penny to a trainer to work on her being good off leash. Aka we’re working on my confidence with it. That’s what happens when you grow up with a border collie who’s instinct is to patrol the perimeter. But that’s been going good! They complimented my training so little ego boost there.

Other than that I’m currently reading a lot. But by “currently reading” I mean one chapter in a lot. I’ve got House of Leaves, A Little Life, The Burning God, and a review copy I’m a chapter in. I guess I’m having trouble committing to just one? Let me know which one I should officially read first!

There’s not much else going on with me, except I’m looking at starting a booktok. What do you guys think? I know they don’t really read what I read, but man am I debating it. Would you guys start one?

What about your guy’s reading as well? Read anything great or super fun?

  1. Same, I’ve just got several books that I’m currently reading, aka, have read a chapter or two of. I’m just too tired to focus on reading stuff because my new kitty is exhausting me!

  2. I hope things continue to go well with Penny’s training! Especially for high-energy dogs, off-leash time can be great for helping them really exercise and de-stress. I never quite got there with either of my dogs, but it sounds like you’re off to a good start!
